I think we need to get a comprehensive list of all the servers stickied including; where they are located, what they run on etc.
I for one will start:
GameName: JFC LMS Minnesota,USA
Hosted By: Computers By JFC
Running: P2 350 Overclocked
Linespeed: DSL 1.2MB up and down
IP: 216.160.39.129:27666
It's only allowed 4 players on at a time (sometimes I can't even get in the server, poo) but it's a stable server.

P.S. No it's really not running on a P2 Overclocked. _________________ Coding is a way of life.

You're gonna try and host a server on a cable line?
Sure hope it's not Comcast, because they have crap for upload speeds (36b/s or something completely crappy like that.)
But good luck getting the server up! _________________ Coding is a way of life.

i just took this test (http://bandwidthplace.com/speedtest/) and i have speed of 4.9 megabits/sec. would this be good for hosting servers for an hour a day or something? _________________ part of a corrupt breakfast |

Megabytes per sec? If you've got 4.9 downstream rate, that would be good. You need to figure out your upstream rate, cuz thats the most important part of hosting a server.
Basically, my speed is 5 megs downstream, and 512 kb upstream....low ping nirvana. Judging by your downstream speed, i'd guess you've got a solid upstream speed. Check to be sure tho.
Edit: just checked some crap in my connection, it says i've got 1.5 megs upstream...this is probably correct, cuz the dsl company's home office is about half a mile away... _________________ -MercyKiller |

Why not post the info in the dedicated servers list? Take care.
