| The reason the MP gui sucks is because it simply would not function displaying scores. We had to rip all the onEvents out of it to get it to work. Help would definitely rock in this respect. |

I'll take a peek at it and see if I can't get score working with a less frigid (heh.) hud.
One thing I forgot to mention....
My video gets really funky when running LMS (beta1 & beta2).
Radeon ATI 9600se.
Everything gets half-black, half-white, and some lighting etc. is screwed up. Changing image_usenormalcompression from whatever it is set at to the other value (1 / 2) and doing a vid_restart seems to help, but it's really been nagging at my brain as to what it is.... |

| Not sure if you're the same person that said this before, but we fixed a similar issue for one person by replacing the config files in the lms dir with the ones from the base dir. |

I have a 9600XT Pro... and I know that when I play LMS with r_usenewambient set to 0 then the GFX are all funky and crap... easy way is to just change it to 1 and it should all look ok... the option is also under the menu under System options... it is called "Special FX"

| 1) Don't include a Doomconfig.cfg with the mod....this really tweaked me up, because my controls/settings are so terribly far from vanilla that it drove me nuts. True, I ended up copying the base/doomconfig.cfg into the lms directory, but it was still a pain. If you just include no doomconfig.cfg, the game copies the one that is in /base! |
Why didn't you end up customizing the controls and everything else through the menu? Removing the DoomConfig.cfg wouldn't change a thing.
It is included because we need to set some variables in lms which aren't in Doom 3. Copying the doom 3 config is not advised since some variables will not be set to the desired values.
Customizing through the main menu is the way to go. |

| Some creepy dark levels that do not have too many monsters... You don't seem to have any scary levels. |

That is not the point of this mod. It's not survival horror, its crap your pants at the 50 monsters coming at you, not jumping out of your seat at the five monsters in a creepy level. _________________ -MercyKiller |

Yeah, I thought it would be cool to have some variety... All of the level designs are the same. |

It is an interesting point. Thanks for your feedback, perhaps some maps in the future will be a bit more scary. Also try the SP maps for that. Take care.

Yeah, maybe a few hell levels? That would fit the swarms better... A level like "HellHole"... Monsters keep spawning in, but not too many at a time. :)
I loved the marines stuck on those poles by the way. |

Warning: The Doom 3 Hell is very disappointing. |

| It was more like caves than hell... Think what the Doom 1 hell done in the D3 technology would have looked like. |
