The Pain Elemental is now a sort of dark cyan color. The green was a little too...green haha.

Also, I have somewhat redesigned the way the Spider Mastermind chaingun works...and I apologize right now for it. I'ma tell you why.

For the longest time, I have considered the Commando Chaingunnner to be the most difficult enemy in the game. Unless you have corners and explosives to work with, they can be a big challenge given their accuracy. This bothered me for a long time because the cyberdemon should be the toughest enemy.

Well, sorry but the Spider Mastermind is now tougher than the Commando Cgunner. Clearly more health, but also his attack deals twice the damage of the Gunner and by default, 25% of the bullets he fires WILL hit you (using a fun script function called directDamage). I have made it possible to adjust his accuracy in the Doom Editor and have reduced his accuracy for a few maps. This was to help ensure that the Mastermind could be the toughest monster to survive against. He still fires a spread of bullets like the classic one, but hits just as often as well.

I decided to change 2 skins: the default skin and the yellow skin. The new skins can be seen in my gallery. Still beta testing everything. Making sure clients get to enjoy what I have done =)

Yea saw the Skins in menu. very nice. I'll look at them in 3rd person, but we need to see them in client server to make sure they work. Also I had some FX that weren't working right, like maybe the shaders for attacks off of certain monsters weren't putting in the right colors, but only seen it once, so no biggy. Might of been my vid card being retarded

Beta Testing should be nearly complete!

I have made some changes to a few things. Added info to the menu credits and the "General" section under "Help" in the main menu.

Erinyes had some trouble freezing while charging. No longer does this now.

Grabber world model now has its normal skin texture.

Third-Person animations for the Tron Rifle, HK and Imp weapons are working.

Made some changes to Sanctum to allow players SOME breathing room haha.

Can't really remember the rest...hmmm... Client side issues should be minimal at this point, if not non-existant for the Mod Extension.

Bitches to the back, too busy up front kickin ass right now to deal with ya's lol. I'm take a look at everything the next two days to really make sure we have the bases covered. Also trying to work on my server, for some reason people can't see it. (I think it's ya'll but anyway) I'll leave my notes, if any, smal or large in the following post. Cool

Ok general check list is done. Everything checks out so far. Once the levels are cleaned up a bit I will give it a healthy run through all of them solo and client.

-Checklist add on:
-Check new area of Sanctum. I will report on it in next post notes.

News - Bad
-none to really report at the moment

Good -
-Lag spikes are minimal to none now during transform effects, also sounds are working properly and clients can see and hear FX. Some caution though, sometimes the effects don't really show and it's just black blocks, I still think this is due to my vid card, it chooses when it wants to work.

Half/half
-Still cannot see SM firing FX. But you can on solo runs, just not as a client. But same goes for archviles using their basic flame wall attack. So at this point, no longer concerned. Lag throughout most of the levels is down by a lot, but will still mess around a bit, if several things are happening all at once.

So far so good.

New area in Sanctum works well. Gives the coverage needed and still keeps a challenge.

Cyberdemon still getting stuck in Last Call. I personally think he is just shy, but without fix, he can end up stuck and camped. I'll add more as i go along and press through each level, but those are my current notes for the next few hours.

Ok heres a bit of updated notes. They will be by level as I played through them solo. No client notes for this post.

Dis: Level is working great. Everything is in place. I will perform one last client test before releasing it 100% (Meaning a green light to go of course)

Icon of Sin: Level has no issues, and I will perform one last client test before releasing it 100%

Gateway of Hell: As far as solo no current issues. Challenging, but the way we like it. I still need to perform several client test.

Last Call: No solo issues, except Cyberdemon, is still stuck in his cubbyhole. Outside of that, if that doesn't need fixed, then it a few client test away.

Go 2 it: Still needs several client test, especially for lag issues. I have an odd feeling they are there, just need to find them. Solo is fine.

Demon Sanctum: Still need solo and client test. Haven't messed with patch yet for this level. But yes the Erynes is no longer getting stuck. So good news for demons, bad news for humans.

So for those of you following this....hahaha...be ready >=D

Due to a large potential of major lag for clients in Go 2 It from the outside area, I am likely going to have multiple waves of revenants and multiple waves of super vagaries. Besides, all this is taking place in the future. The monsters gotta do something different =)

Solo notes for ME

-Dis : Solo game play 100%
-Gateway of Hell : Solo game play 100%
-Go 2 It : Solo game play 100%
-Icon of Sin : Solo game play 100%
-Last Call : Solo game play 90%
-Demon Sanctum : Solo game play 100%

Last Call - Cyberdemon still stuck in cubbyhole, but he isn't getting stuck as much when walking about inside, my feeling are...he dies anyway lol.

Client notes for ME

-Dis : Need one more client run
-Gateway of Hell : Need several runs
-Go 2 It : need one good run or a few seperate runs
-Icon of Sin : Need one more client run
-Last Call : Need several runs
-Demon Sanctum : Need one more client run or a few seperate runs.

Last Call and Gateway and maybe Go 2 It need several so we can find out where ragdoll lag is, and what might be causing client to crash in certain areas. Go 2 It only has a spot or two left for me to find, the other two need complete test.

We are very close. If server is up tonight, I will finish off the levels in easiest order so all attention can be focused on the levels needing it most.

Solo Notes for ME

All Levels are 100%

Client notes for ME

Dis : 100%
Icon of Sin : 100%
Demon Sanctum : 100%
Go 2 It : 90%
Last Call : 50%
Gateway of Hell : 0%

Go 2 it will have the demons with spawn control. The level played smooth, but at peek fights, lag was horrible. Once spawning is added, just one good test away

Last Call - once ragdolls were removed, level played great. I think we will need to keep a few, just for taste. But once a balance is met, a few good test away

Gateway - can't even enter as client yet, due to ragdolls yet again. Once fixed I will conduct test.

Made a few adjustments.

Maps Gateway of Hell and Last Call had light issues for clients. Issues have been resolved.

Last Call and Gateway of Hell had issues of clients crashing due to too many ragdolls being processed. This has also been resolved.

Go 2 It runs more smoothly (not perfectly, but at the times where the lag spikes due to monsters, you shouldn't even be in the area haha).

So far as I am aware, there is little left to be done, if anything. Given we are going to try to make a quick video showing off the ME, the release may be pushed by just a couple days. Either way, it will be released next week.

All levels 100% for solo

Dis, Icon, Go, Sanctum are 100% for clients and ready for final run

Gateway and Last Call need a few more client runs. If they pass tonight, final run will begin. Cool

Final Notes:

Solo 100% all levels

Clients 100% all levels

Team Play 100% but with issues, but I believe that to be mostly due to our computers have never liked each other and what not. Still being debated.

The LMS 4.0 Mod Extension is being officially released.

Please note that only 1 of the 2 mirror links is operational. The 2nd link is still pending approval. Once it is ready, I will edit the first post to make it available.
