i know bfg was taken out because it lags but i think it would be better to make a variable that enables or disables bfg in sp coop. also, will there be soul cube in LMS 3.0?

well, actually it was removed because it would make game too easy. I guess soul cube will be kept off your hands reason: same as before. but you will get it at the last map in sp coop, where you face cyberdemon

thanks for the great mod, do you have any plans for making the levels in sp coop more challenging without it becomming silly?

atm with 4 players, its just too easy even on setting 3, and thats without the more powerful guns.

Back to the soul cube thing. This is probably not wanted because it makes the game easier, or it's probably difficult to program but: Why not allow the soul cube give health back to the user?

We have added 2 new skill levels more difficult than skill 3 for the next release. It should make it more challenging for even a veteran player.

Giving the health to the player when they use the soulcube was not removed for LMS, it just did not work and we have not investigating what would be necessary to make it work. I personally like that it does not give health back to the player.

Well good. Maybe if I set the server to skill 5 then I could play alllll alone Sad I can get more kills that way Cool

Another thing to keep in mind - Health packs come back now, making leeching health via SC much less important.

And I know absolutely nothing about Doom 3 or mod programming in general, but

Could the reason the SC's not giving health simply be the fact that Doom 3 didn't have built in support for the Soul Cube in multiplayer? Armor behaves like normal MP (>100 degrades to 100 over time), as opposed to SP (125 cap), so.

Not that we need the cube for anything but the CD.

well its good you guys are making it harder i found it still to easy playing on lms diff by my self and i have been having problems connectiong to servers i keep coming up with missing required pak files any help with this will be great
