Do not post the same question in 4 different threads within minutes of each other.
Now for the answer:
If you see that Doom3 is loading pk4 files that are not supposed to be loaded you need to remove them from your "doom3/base" folder. I assume that you put them in there so you should know how to remove them.

Because you posted 3 topics with the same question, I had to delete the other 2. If you do that again there will be consequences. Just be sure to use the Edit button in the future.

| You would mean a PK4 file. Go to the folder that the PK4 is in (most likely base), highlight, and delete. Make sure you look closely at what PK4 it is and if it is a vital file or not before you delete it. And by vital, I mean PK4's game00-game03 and pak000-pak007. If any of those PK4's show up with a different checksum than is listed in the FAQ (which is where I am guessing you got the checksum file idea from), that means the file has been modified. This happens when you download mods that tell you to put them in your base folder when they are named the same as a vital file. If one of your vital files has a different checksum, you will need to reinstall your game. That is, unless you made backups of the original PK4, which I doubt you did. |
