New Map and Long Time no see!

Hello hello LMS fans! \_TA_/ Alucard here. Although I go by lmsAlucard now, but whatever. It's been a while. I've been involved with other things happening with my life, so yeah.

Anyways, I return (maybe only briefly) to announce that I am in the middle of making a new map! I started this map a loooong time ago but lost interest due to things happening and some technical difficulties I hit in the map. Of course, I come back to the map and resolve the problem almost immediately by cheating =)

For the LMS Community, this map design is one that has yet to be seen. People who know me and my maps know that I strive to be different, that I try to introduce new gameplay experiences.

Right now, all I will introduce is the map name so as to get you thinking of what might be involved:

M.U.R.D.E.R. - Mars Underground Research Division: Energetics and Relocation

If you thought I made things difficult before, this map will make you sweat to no end.[/code]

Sounds scary! I want hear more about this map Very Happy

We had been thinking on doing another release though I can't remember at the moment why.. I think I'm having a blond moment haha. Take care and nice to see you both of you are still around Very Happy

**Installation and Playing Instructions**

Map name : MURDER - Mars Underground Research Division: Energetics and Reactors

The available pk4 file can be found here:

To play my map, you need to download the pk4 file, and paste it into your lms4 folder located in your Doom 3 folder. File path may look like the following:

C:\Program Files\Doom 3\lms4

After it is in your lms4 folder, run Last Man Standing 4.0. At the menu, you can press ` (tilda) to bring down the console and type in: si_map ts_murder. Press Enter, then type: servermaprestart. Press Enter, then the map should load.

The pk4 file also contains some fixes to my other maps.

One additional thing I must mention. If you plan on running a server (espeically if it is dedicated), you will not be able to run the map with players who do not have the updated maps. If you choose to run a server and have players join, you will need to remove the pk4 file from the lms4 folder unless you know for a fact the other person/people have the same pk4 file.

This map looks awesome, loved the video. Great job Alucard! Can't wait to try it out. Anyone wanna try out the new map and have an LMS night?? Razz

I've also made a replica map of E5M8 : Field of Judgment from Heretic :p I even pulled the original song and threw it in.

I'm also recreating Icon of Sin, the final map in Doom 2. I'll finish up the map and put my final touches on Field of Judgment. I pulled the music for both maps and even the Gatekeeper's voice from Doom 2 =)

That map looks awesome! Thanks for posting the youtube video. I'll have to do some news on it sometime soon and get the video posted on the mainpage. Maybe a bunch of us will have to get together and check this out ;D BTW I set our moddb page so that whoever wants to upload screenshots and files and such can.

I'll see what I can do for screenshots. I'm going to try to wrap up both of my maps tonight. It'll be tricky getting Icon of Sin working 100%, but it'll be fun =)

I am bumping up this post due to the change in FileFront. I just discovered it is now GameFront and thus my uploaded pk4 file is missing. I just re-uploaded it and the new site is below. I also changed my original post with instructions (first page of thread) to contain this site.
