Hi.. just bought the game about 3 days ago to play on my Ubuntu hardy system. I can play the game perfectly with very high resolution. But when it comes to this package the LMS 4 which I installed following directions, unzip to Doom 3 directory not to base file. When I go to load the mod in the game it appears on the list and I click load but instead the game crashes. And when I try to join a game with the mod on multiplayer, the game crashes.
Has anyone expirienced this? |

| noup this is the first mod I install and yes Doom 3 is updated... but how do I " try loading doom3 then LMS through the linux console" ? Thanks for quick reply. |

Hey.. so I patched it. Even though it was version 1.3.1 i patched it anyways just in case... And ran it through terminal and I got this error.
ERROR: Error: file pak008.pk4/script/doom_events.script, line 980: Unknown event 'getIdealWeapon'

this is a little oiff topic... but how do you set autorun on single player? and also I don't know if you know but how do you add shortcut to menu in Ubuntu hardy if my directory is /home/babu/DOOM ?

I'm sure that the correct patch is installed cause the LMS runs under Windows and under Wine.
But I want Linux.

If I remember correctly, (It's been a wile since I've played), when you're in game, hit Esc. under the 'Multiplayer' tab it should say 'Always Run', or something around those lines. |
