I was almost sure you guys said it was fixed in 2.0
But its still happening, and its a major problem
When you start a listen server and when one level is done it will load the next level then after its done it will immediatly load the next level after it.
Its very annoying because then I have to go in to the console and go back a level.
BTW Im liking 2.0 keep up the good work! _________________

| Specifics might help in finding the bug. Which maps skipped? How many people were on the server? |

It will do it no matter how many people are on, but I typically run a 6 person server.
Lets say Your on AlphaLabs1
1:You click the next level button at the end of map
2:It loads alpha2
3:when Alpha2 is done loading it imediatly loads alpha3
4:Now it stays at alpha 3 until you go in the console and go back to alpha2
5:Then when you beat alpha 2 the same process starts all over again.
It does it with all levels. _________________

| This also happened to me while playing ROE Co-op (not a listen server though). Erebus Labs was skipped over for Erebus Control. |

I think this problem mostly happens on a listen server. I think I have heard of that problem with the skipping for that specific map shadowman, both in listen and dedicated. I'm wondering, have you guys seen of the level skipping on a dedicated server besides what shadowman mentioned? From what I have seen, the level skipping does seem to be soley on a listen server, and only if another client has joined the server, not if someone is playing the listen server solely. Please let me know if I am wrong. Take care guys and thanks for the hard work of reporting these bugs!

I tried this exact thing with:
1. A listen server with one other client on it.
2. A dedicated server with one client
Nocliped to next level button. I found no map skipping.
I think it probably is related to your settings. Do a "writeConfig mapskip_settings.cfg" or send any of us the DoomConfig.cfg (same thing). Then we can test if it is your settings and find the actual problem if it is. |
