| Okay, I d/led your mod, patched up to doom 1.3 and all that. I still got a dll api error. I want to know if I could de-patch somehow and get rid of patch 1.3. |

Last Man Standing v1.0 uses version 1.3 of Doom 3. Don't patch down.
I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling Doom 3 for a fresh clean install then install patch 1.3 unless you have Resurrection of Evil then install that first then v1.3 of Doom 3. Then install Last Man Standing v1.0 and see if that works.

Continuing our sordid saga...
Ok, I uninstall D3 and ROE. I reinstall D3. I try to start it up to patch it from the game itself, and lo and behold, I get a error while initializing game error. |

I've never heard of a problem like that... maybe a registration problem in ur pc itself making it not install the patch for Doom 3. That did happen to me once. At that time i wiped my pc because i also had spyware out the butt.  So I'd try talking to someone whos good with registration things. Sorry I couldn't be any of help.

EDIT: Just remembered my copy is a new zealand one, so that COULD be a problem. |
